Microsoft 365 Business Basic vs Google Workspace Business Starter for Indian Startups
When you want to choose your business email domain for your startup this might be helpful. Many startups now host their services in cloud (AWS, Azure or Google). Based on that you can decide which one suites your wallet. I have not taken AWS Workmail into consideration here. Because they don’t have Indian pricing model. Their price starts with 6 UDS, which is expensive compare to Microsoft and Google.
Conclusion :
I see feature wise Microsoft offers better features than Google. If you have used Teams before you know that Teams features are way better than Google Meet.
Only problem I see for startup business is annual commitment. Microsoft’s monthly commitment is expensive than Google. But if I see the features still the price is justified.
Startups can use hybrid model with MS 365. If we know how many are surely there for long term, those many subscriptions can committed annually and for others commit monthly.
